Retail Use, Cupertino, CA

Retail Shop for state-of-the-art audio/video equipment. The 2,500 sq. ft. project includes two audio listening rooms, a video room and a general sales area. The listening rooms are designed with a relaxing intimate feeling, since most customers are equipping home listening rooms. Lighting, colors and finishes in these rooms are low-key and residential in character. In contrast, the sales area features bold, eye-catching colors and forms. It is configured in such a way as to move customers toward the area of highest sales volume, the cd and accessories racks. Materials and furniture throughout the shop are simple and low cost, and the project was completed on a very tight budget.
